What Is The Focus Dual?
The Focus Dual offers a unique combination of the latest clinically proven technologies for face and body treatments. Radiofrequency Micro needling and High Intensity Focused Ultrasound come together to give maximum results to sculpt, tighten and tone the skin on the face, neck and body.
These gold standard technologies can lift and define the jawline, shrink pores, reduce eye bags, lift and tone the eye area, smooth fine lines and wrinkles around the mouth, and improve the appearance of surgical scars, acne scarring and stretchmarks. Deeper HIFU treatments can also destroy fat cells, tightening a double chin, the abdomen, back, underarms, thighs, hips, buttocks and arms.

What happens during a Focus Dual treatment?
Prior to treatment you will be invited in for a complimentary consultation, with one of aesthetic practitioners to discuss the areas you would like to treat, and the reasons for doing so. During this time, we will explain the treatment/ treatment plan in detail ensuring you fully understand the procedure.If you wish to go ahead with the treatment, we will double cleanse the treatment area.
The handpiece will then be placed on the skin in the target area directly on the skin. If you select to undergo HIFU treatment, the area will be marked in order to define the areas for treatment.
Once the treatment is complete, post-treatment serum Light Soothe and Light Protect SPF 50 is applied to help soothe the skin and aid its recovery.
Full results can be seen 12 weeks after the final treatment
How many treatments will I need?
Treatments are carried out every 4-6 weeks and usually between 1-3 HIFU treatments and 3-6 RF Microneedling treatments are recommended for best results. A course of 3 RF Microneedling treatments is recommended for skin rejuvenation, whereas for surgical scars, stretchmarks and acne scarring, or deep lines and wrinkles, a course of 6 treatments may be recommended.
Combination treatment programmes are recommended for ultimate results.
When will I see results?
Following HIFU treatments results can be seen immediately but will continue to improve as new collagen is stimulated. Best results are noticed three-months after your final treatment.
With RF Microneedling treatments improvements can be seen from 2-3 weeks from the first treatment, but as the natural results get better over time, you will see the best results again from around three-months after the final treatment, ensuring a natural and gradual result.
Is there any downtime?
HIFU is a powerful yet non-invasive treatment and does not break the skin, it has been described as the ‘lunchtime face lift’ because aside from some slight redness, there is virtually no downtime with no special recovery instructions. A small number of patients experience mild and temporary swelling, tingling and tenderness.
RF Microneedling uses radiofrequency and ultra-fine needles to stimulate collagen and the body’s wound-healing processes. The downtime is usually less that standard microneedling, but you can expect some redness and mild tenderness for 24-48 hours after the procedure.
